Responsibilities
Contribute a minimum of 4 Formula 1 articles per week, including opinion pieces, race previews and recaps, driver features, or technical analyses
Cover the latest developments from the F1 paddock, including team updates, standings, controversies, and key storylines
Pitch and produce engaging, original stories that resonate with both dedicated F1 fans and casual sports readers
Write accurate, timely, and well-researched articles under tight deadlines
Collaborate with editors and implement feedback efficiently
Follow GiveMeSport’s editorial style guide and uphold its content quality standards
Qualification
Required
Educational background in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience writing about sports, preferably motorsport or Formula 1
Strong understanding of F1 teams, drivers, race formats, and technical regulations
Ability to write fast, accurate, and opinionated coverage with a distinct and engaging voice
Familiarity with SEO best practices and audience engagement strategies
Passion for Formula 1 and deep knowledge of the sport's evolving landscape
