Responsibilities

Ability to design and development Mission Systems (MS) hardware subsystem
Experience with Electronics design, assembly, and checkout
Demonstrated experience working through all phases of hardware development including platform integration/adoption
Experience with managing supplier requirements and tracking supplier execution
Ability to work with different engineering disciplines (software, systems, RF, networking, reliability, cybersecurity, etc.) to derive and decompose requirements
Experience with Safety Critical system design characteristics
Experience with VITA OpenVPX Family of Standards and/or SOSA Technical Standard
Experience with Gigahertz microprocessors, FPGAs, DDR4 memory, flash memory, and high-density interconnect technologies
Familiarity with RF system design, including components, such as amplifiers, filters, and antennas
Knowledge of the proposal process
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering Tools (Rhapsody, MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Required

Previous system architecture experience spanning from creation of system level requirements and architectures through decomposition down to the software level requirements and architecture
Strong background in data links/communication and systems engineering
Good communication skills

US citizenship
Eligibility requirements for access to classified information (including an investigation within the last 5 years)
Possess a DoD Secret clearance
Ability to obtain a SAP/SAR clearance
Travel (approximately once a month) to customer facilities and Lockheed Martin sites
