Responsibilities

Perform Electrical Analysis: Conduct short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or Easy Power
Engineering Reports: Prepare comprehensive engineering reports and present findings to clients with actionable recommendations for upgrades, safety improvements, or efficiency enhancements
System Design: Develop electrical models based on single-line diagrams or field notes and use CAD tools to generate drawings
Project Support: Collaborate with project managers to address engineering challenges and provide solutions during project execution
Field Work: Conduct occasional on-site evaluations under varying environmental conditions. Tasks may include equipment inspection, troubleshooting, or data gathering

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug test and background investigation

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward obtaining it
Familiarity with National Electric Code (NEC), NETA, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards
Knowledge of system protection practices, including low- and high-voltage protection components
Experience with equipment ratings, load calculations, and electrical testing procedures
