Senior Director of Advancement-Data Management Reporting & Analytics
The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Senior Director of Advancement-Data Management Reporting & Analytics to lead the strategic direction and operational management of their CRM system. This role involves overseeing CRM architecture, integrations, and data workflows to support fundraising and engagement efforts.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of six IT and data professionals focused on CRM operations and support
Architect and implement CRM strategies aligned with Advancement’s goals
Manage system integrations, UAT processes, and platform enhancements
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with PII, FERPA, and HIPAA
Collaborate with Advancement leadership to streamline business processes and improve user experience
Promote CRM best practices and lead training initiatives across departments
Oversee implementation and support of related platforms and software tools
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
Strong project management and organizational skills
Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, and CRM platforms (Ellucian CRM Advance, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Raiser's Edge)
Familiarity with ADA accessibility standards and data privacy regulations
Experience with system customization, integration, and communication workflows
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred
Experience in higher education or Advancement operations
Knowledge of professional fundraising systems and ethics
Success in leading change management and system transformation initiatives
Experience with data hygiene, enhancement projects, and campaign support
Ability to build and manage complex communication logic within CRM platforms
Familiarity with Ellucian Advance Web or similar systems used in higher education
