Data Enablement Intern

Performance Contracting Group is a national employee-owned specialty contractor committed to recruiting and developing a diverse workforce. They are seeking a Data Enablement Intern to support their Data Enablement Team by collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data, as well as assisting with building dashboards and reports to aid in decision-making.

Responsibilities

Support the Data Enablement team in collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data
Assist with building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making
Clean, transform, and validate datasets for accuracy and consistency
Perform exploratory data analysis and document key findings
Help automate recurring reporting processes
Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
Maintain excellent records of work completed and document analysis processes
Support ongoing data quality initiatives and governance practices
Manage, execute, and document assigned project work

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a comparable field of study, and must still be in pursuit of the degree during the summer of 2026
Must have an interest in data analytics and supporting business decision-making with insights
Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

Preferred

Prior completion of 2–3 years of a relevant undergraduate degree program is preferred
Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or another data visualization tool
Local to the Kansas City Metro Area
