Responsibilities
Execute projects within the portfolio to their authorized budgets and schedules
Collaborate with site leadership and be responsive to evolving plant cost and capital needs
Drive alignment on site portfolio plan collaborating with site leads, and the Capital Portfolio Manager to prioritize and align on a consolidated capital project portfolio for the company
Provide and coordinate engineering assistance to site to maintain safe and reliable plants, including support for MIQA, and infrastructure (non-capital work)
Plan and support Turn-A-Round (TAR) and/or Outage installation for projects, as needed
Lead the site capital steering cadence; present portfolio status; escalate scope/risk/funding decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Minimum of 15 years of management experience in industrial engineering
At least 10 years managing engineers and designers in chemical/petroleum industries
Preferred
Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and track record
Knowledge of plant operations, capital project execution, and maintenance excellence technologies
High level of engineering competency and technical leadership
Experience with contractor management and leveraging strategies
Ability and interest in working in a hands-on environment with all levels of staff
