Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of HVAC and refrigeration systems from concept to completion
Conduct load calculations and equipment selection to ensure efficient and effective system performance
Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed design drawings and specifications for HVAC systems
Analyze system performance and implement energy-efficient solutions to enhance operational efficiency
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to budgets
Stay updated on codes and standards, including ASHRAE guidelines, to ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and CAD technicians

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration design

Experience in energy efficiency and system analysis practices
Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
