Responsibilities
Lead performance improvement efforts, including mechanical/electrical equipment design, prototyping, production-scale trials, troubleshooting, and problem-solving using continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support initiatives in equipment optimization, material transitions, automation, and startup operations
Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making
Summarize key learnings, next steps, and decisions needed for senior leadership; present updates in project review forums and team huddles
Participate in team meetings and workshops, contributing ideas, supporting planning and logistics, and engaging in collaborative problem-solving
Learn and apply business tools and systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab, Tableau) to complete tasks and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic supply chain environment
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate student currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Engineering or another related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with data, identify trends, and support decision-making
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
Effective communication and collaboration
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and sharing ideas clearly
Organizational and time management abilities
Capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Eager to gain exposure to different business functions and take initiative
Preferred
Familiarity with Minitab or Power BI
