Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day construction, public relations, and coordination for the City of Willow project
Oversee contractors in the field to ensure work is completed safely, per plan, and to the highest quality standards
Own and manage construction and operational budgets for the project
Drive and maintain the project schedule to ensure on-time delivery of parcels and lot sales
Coordinate with local officials, project engineers, and architects on all matters related to the City of Willow
Review contracts, pay requests, and assist in setting and maintaining project budgets
Serve as the local ambassador for the City of Willow by attending public events and being an active participant in the community
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of direct experience in land development, construction management, or a related field (10+ years preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Business, or a related field — or — 10 years of equivalent professional experience
Strong understanding of land development, architectural and civil plans, entitlements, zoning, permitting, and utilities (municipal and private)
Familiarity with real estate transactions and local political processes
Proven leadership and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Strong sense of urgency and ability to resolve issues swiftly and effectively
Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate diverse stakeholders
Must be available in the Kanab area at least 4 days per week
Preferred
10+ years of direct experience in land development, construction management, or a related field
