Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, OR suites, recovery areas, offices, and clinics
Sanitize beds, furniture, counters, fixtures, and restrooms
Replace cubicle curtains and drapes in patient areas
Maintain resilient and carpeted floors, using mops, vacuums, and floor machines
Clean walls, windows, and equipment throughout the facility
Collect and dispose of trash, recyclable materials, and soiled linens
Unload, inspect, and distribute laundered items to patient care areas
Set up and clean conference rooms for meetings
Maintain equipment and storage rooms in a neat, safe, and sanitary condition
Read and follow chemical labels, ensuring proper dilution and use of cleaning agents
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and infection control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependability and a positive attitude
Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
