Responsibilities
Conduct regulatory analysis and research related to healthcare laws and regulations
Provide guidance on patient care issues and compliance with healthcare standards
Respond to inquiries and provide legal advice on employment law matters
Support agencies in understanding federal and state regulations and statutes regarding licensing, Medicaid, and Medicare
Offer guidance on patient privacy laws and ensure compliance
Develop and deliver training and education programs on legal and compliance topics
Collaborate with members of the legal team and other Pennant departments on other matters as needed
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar Association
3-5 years of relevant legal experience
Excellent analytical, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
A high level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
