Security Systems Integrator Field Tech/Installer
P.A.C.E., Inc is a leader in Access control & Security Systems with over 25 years of experience. They are seeking Security Systems Integration Technicians/Installers to join their team in San Diego, where the role involves installing and maintaining high-end security systems and ensuring timely execution of projects.

Responsibilities
Installation, service and maintenance of high-end access control, video management and intrusion surveillance systems
Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems
Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with P.A.C.E.'s procedures and quality control standards
Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes
Communicates with Managers and/or Project Manager to resolve discrepancies or issues
Provides regular progress updates to all stakeholders
Provides accurate documentation for completed work
Responsible for providing proper documentation for inventory control and for maintaining proper inventory for vehicles and projects. Must be available to perform end of year and interim inventory counts
Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tools issued
Assume responsibility for assigned tools, and test equipment
Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors, and P.A.C.E. staff as necessary to install and test equipment
Stays up to date and knowledgeable in P.A.C.E. services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, plus vocational training or equivalent
Must have an electrical background and knowledge of electrical materials
Must have successful experience with complex system installations
Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team
Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives with little supervision
2+ years of successful experience installing access control, video systems or other related electronic systems
Understanding of job safety practices
Strong electronics knowledge/background (AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops) and ability and knowledge to use digital volt meters
Knowledge of door hardware, electric and mechanical locking devices and building codes
Mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocol and Cat5 technologies
Must be willing to participate in and pass the company's pre-employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening
Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver's license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position
Lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Climb stairs and ladders while carrying weight
Use color vision to distinguish colored wires, signals, other lighting devices
Use and manipulate hand tools, small power tools, communication, and diagnostic devices
Security System Installation: 3 years (Required)
CA Driver's License (Required)
Preferred
SoftwareHouse, AMAG, Continental, Brivo
Familiarity with Matrix Switches, Multiplexers and DVR's
Network video experience
Relay logic
Familiar with electric lock hardware installation and servicing
