Video Producer Associate

Responsibilities
Perform as a camera operator/sound mixer/gaffer and grip in Studio and on-location, as assigned by the Video Production Manager
Organize and execute pre-production and production processes for assigned courses, coordinate with the rest of the video team, instructional designers, and multimedia artists
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and perform regular maintenance
Receive and implement notes regarding the editing of projects based on content and input from the producers, instructional designers, and faculty members
Archive and maintain a record of master files, making sure all footage is secured and backed up
Ingest, log, sync, and organize media
Post-production project setup, editing, on-lining, archiving video, delivery, and managing digital assets
Assemble footage into string outs, rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining professional standards when needed
Perform color correction and sound sweetening
Provide graphics support utilizing Adobe After Effects and Creative Suite
Ensure quality control and consistency on final deliverables by utilizing and recommending advanced technologies, workflows, and post-production methodologies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BFA or BA in Cinema or related field (ex. Production, Cinematography) required
Three (3) plus years of video production experience in a professional environment
Proficient in working in studio and on-location with professional video and sound equipment
Demonstrated experience in a team environment and producing educational content for higher education
Experience working in a studio for video production as a grip and/or electric
Considerable knowledge of, and working experience with, Canon and Blackmagic camera systems
Knowledge of, and working experience with, camera external recorders
Knowledge of, and working experience with, sound equipment
Knowledge of electrical safety and safety issues for media and sound production, studio
Detailed technical knowledge of video codecs, and transcoding for web delivery
Must have a fundamental understanding of video and audio editing
Expert knowledge of data management, equipment compatibility, and post-production workflow
Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, and Davinci Resolve
Knowledge of Mac OS systems is required
Understanding of computer network concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in handling DIT activities
