They are seeking a Service Technician who will be responsible for repairing, servicing, and building standard and custom training systems, as well as managing the Learning and Development warehouse.

Responsibilities

Performs design, build, assembly and maintenance on assigned learning and development lab equipment

Disassembles, cleans, and inspects system components for repair

Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts and components

Builds shipping crates

Orders and maintains equipment inventory

Assembles new and repaired equipment

Tests repaired equipment for performance and prepares for shipment or long-term storage

Tool and Warehouse Management

Forklift Shipping and Receiving

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Basic mechanical knowledgeShop equipment operationCommunication skillsTeamworkIndependent work

Required

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED

Strong communication skills required

Basic mechanical knowledge

Ability to operate shop equipment safely

Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision

Neck rotation, trunk rotation, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, reach and lift, ladder climb and carry, crawling
