Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of developers working on ERP, warehouse management, and custom business applications
Architect, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications using RPG, SQL, and ILE on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platforms
Collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high standards of software quality and maintainability
Drive continuous improvement through agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices
Integrate legacy systems with modern cloud-based platforms and third-party tools
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
7+ years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
Strong expertise in RPG (Free/ILE), SQL, and IBM iSeries (AS/400) environments
Proven success in leading ERP modernization or migration projects
Solid understanding of manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain business processes
Familiarity with agile project management tools and methodologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
Preferred
Hands-on experience with ERP Systems (JD Edwards World and/or EnterpriseOne Preferred)
