Yazaki North America is a global leader in vehicle power and data solutions, seeking a motivated Summer Intern to join their Human Resources team. The intern will focus on Learning and Development, contributing to training sessions and digital learning content while gaining exposure to various HR functions.

Responsibilities

The HR intern will gain exposure to various HR functions, including Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Global Mobility, and HRIS
While the intern may contribute to short-term projects across these areas, their primary focus will be on supporting Learning and Development
They will play an active role in shaping, proposing, and implementing training sessions, with a particular focus on creating digital learning content for a corporate audience using tools such as Articulate 360 and related eLearning design platforms
The intern will also gain hands-on experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration, including uploading, testing, and tracking training modules
Successful implementation and deployment of engaging learning content
The HR intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with HR team members across the US and Mexico
Additionally, they will engage in networking with fellow interns, cross-functional team members, organizational leaders, and potentially external service providers

Qualification

Required

Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period
Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related degree
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
Completed coursework in the HR field
Proficiency using MS PowerPoint to create engaging presentations
Using MS Excel to create and manipulate data using sort/filter, v-look up and pivot table creation functions
An interest in or exposure to digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Learning Management Systems, and/or video editing software)
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
Professionalism and confidentiality critical
