Fire Sprinkler Designer

Responsibilities
Design and layout fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD/Revit and hydraulic calculation software
Prepare detailed shop drawings and submit plans for AHJ approval
Ensure compliance with NFPA 12, 13R, 13D, and local building codes
Perform hydraulic calculations and verify water supply adequacy
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other trades during design
Review and interpret construction documents and specifications
Maintain accurate project documentation and meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
2+ years' experience in fire sprinkler design/layout
NICET level II or above
NICET Water-Based Systems Layout
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software
Strong Knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability and willingness to work in office and occasionally visit job sites
Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Preferred
7+ years' experience in the installation and / or maintenance of Fire Sprinkler Systems
Must be able to demonstrate ability to read/understand design and construction documents
Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
NFPA Certified Water-Based Systems Professional(CWBSP)
