Demonstratable experience in MBSE/Digital Engineering capabilities
Create mechanical designs and CAD models for payloads and assemblies
Perform thermal and structural FEA analysis
Select materials and design for environmental ruggedization
Support payload integration on platforms including mounts and harness routing
Produce manufacturing documentation with GD&T and tolerances
Support vibration, thermal, and environmental testing
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Digital Engineering/MBSE
5 years of mechanical design/analysis experience
Demonstratable experience in MBSE/Digital Engineering capabilities
Create mechanical designs and CAD models for payloads and assemblies
Perform thermal and structural FEA analysis
Select materials and design for environmental ruggedization
Support payload integration on platforms including mounts and harness routing
Produce manufacturing documentation with GD&T and tolerances
Support vibration, thermal, and environmental testing
10 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer
5 years of mechanical design/analysis experience
Proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo
Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, COMSOL
Experience with thermal analysis and environmental qualification
Strong knowledge of materials, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
Degree BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) or a relevant technical discipline
Applicant must be able to be found eligible and sustain an active DoD SECRET Clearance
The applicant must have US citizenship at the time of application
