Senior LevelImmiland Canada Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic Foreman to join their team. The role involves supervising and coordinating the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment while ensuring safety standards and productivity improvements.

Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers related to the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and heavy equipment
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities
Requisition of materials and supplies
Supervise and support when needed the team in Heavy Duty Mechanics (HDM) to perform major and minor repairs, overhauls, and servicing on all types of engines
Ensure that standards for safe working conditions are observed
Supervise and support when needed the team in performing different maintenance services
Train or arrange for the training of new workers if needed. Perform duties with no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner
Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
Supervise and support when needed the team in the inspection, test, and diagnosis of mechanisms, to detect malfunctions and ensure that they are in proper operating condition
Supervise and support when needed the team in the inspection and verification of dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
Prepare inspection and work reports, and record details on prescribed forms by established procedures
Supervise coordinate, and support locomotive operation and testing on shoptracks
Other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
Completion of secondary school is required
Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic with expertise in diagnosing and repairing various heavy equipment
Related studies would be considered
Proficient in using computerized and other testing equipment for fault identification
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work independently
Familiarity with manufacturers' specifications and quality standards
Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and equipment types
Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and adapt to changing priorities
English proficiency is a must, French is an asset
