Responsibilities

Read and follow documented instructions and complete company documentation to correctly complete required tasks

Interpret customer drawings including Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances to ensure measurement programs and spreadsheets are accurate

Work under direct supervision and in accordance with company instructions and procedures to correctly process parts

Utilize software to create and run programs, using vision measurement systems, in accordance with the company quality system

Create and utilize worksheets in Microsoft Excel for data collection and analysis

Use Microsoft Outlook to send email notifications for data review

Review collected data for irregularities and re-inspect parts as required

Review collected data for trends and process capability and relay any findings to engineering to find parts that could have measurements decreased or eliminated

Identify and make recommendations for inspection improvement opportunities to help lower part costs and make parts quicker to process through the inspection department and the plant
