Responsibilities
Customer Service Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries, delivering exceptional service and fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders
Expert Problem-Solving: Address and resolve complex accounting and transactional inquiries via phone and email, conducting thorough research and documentation to ensure positive outcomes
Escalation Management: Handle escalated requests by performing root cause analysis, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with NAC accounting teams to resolve complex challenges
Financial Oversight: Approve disbursements, including wire transfers and checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies
Process Optimization: Identify process gaps, develop innovative solutions, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
Training and Development: Lead training programs for branch teams and mentor ASC and Branch Accounting Service novices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/equivalent
7 years of Insurance Accounting experience-preferably in a brokerage environment-that includes Receivables, Payables, and Billing experience
Preferred
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred
3+ years of experience in transactional accounting roles, ideally within the insurance brokerage or financial services industry
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and teamwork across diverse groups
