Program Coordinator/Event Manager for Online Programs

William & Mary Libraries is seeking a Program Coordinator/Event Manager for Online Programs to support online graduate business functions within the Center for Online Learning. The role involves planning, executing, and managing virtual, in-person, and global events for the online graduate business programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive plans for online programs and virtual events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Manage the end-to-end process of virtual event planning, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with speakers and participants
Oversee administrative tasks, including budget tracking, record-keeping, and report generation
Manage systems used for all procurement processes and resources efficiently
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of online programs and events, gathering feedback and implementing improvements
Oversee the dissemination of online student surveys and feedback
Monitor program quality, evaluate effectiveness, and suggest improvements based on feedback
Coordinate with marketing, outreach teams, and external partners to promote online programs
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of online graduate programs
Staying current with best practices in online education and trends
This position may require occasional evening and weekend work to support online program events and deadlines
This position also requires support and engagement in all student-centered programs, alumni, community partners, and MSOB colleagues
Supporting other business school activities as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
Demonstrated technical expertise with various computer software programs (i.e., Workday, ATG, etc.)
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem-solving, quick-thinking and adaptability to resolve issues as they arise

Preferred

Professional certifications within event planning or program coordination
Experience in the higher education industry
Experience in event planning
