Responsibilities
Establish and maintain a robust framework for model governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, in line with internal policies and external standards (e.g., BSP Circulars)
Oversee the entire lifecycle of all models, including development, validation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring
Lead the independent validation of new and existing models, ensuring their accuracy, stability, and performance
Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all models, ensuring clear documentation of model purpose, methodology, assumptions, and limitations
Partner with data science, IT, business, and compliance teams to ensure models are effectively integrated, monitored, and understood by all stakeholders
Lead and mentor a team of model risk and validation analysts, fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and continuous improvement
