AT&T is a leading telecommunications company seeking a Cybersecurity Intern for their Cybersecurity Internship Program. The intern will engage in cybersecurity-related project work, develop technical skills, and network with leaders across the organization to prepare for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

Spend 10-12 weeks in cybersecurity-related project work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Work in teams to build out next-generation security technology solutions for projects such as 5G, Mobility, Open-Source Initiatives, Network security, Microservices, Automation, Cloud solutions, Threat Analytics, Data Protection, AI/Machine Learning, Quantum technology, and UI/UX design

Interpret a software feature from an end user's perspective, determine the best designed solution, and then code and test your solution

Demo the user story solution for the software product owner, gather their feedback and make any needed adjustments

Participate in daily meetings to communicate progress and impediments as part of a team

Use artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation and other tools to breakdown business problems, analyze data, and guide improvements

Influence customer satisfaction and potentially generate millions in savings and revenue through enhancements such as fleet optimization, energy efficiency, and data/threat analytics

Develop meaningful data-driven insights to inspire continuous innovation

Required

Current student pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree in a four-year undergraduate or graduate program, inclusive of degrees meeting federal STEM classification codes
