Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, isometrics, process & instrumentation diagrams, and specifications
Perform heat load calculations for buildings and structures
Select and size HVAC equipment
Design and size ductwork
Develop mechanical and facility drawing packages in AutoCAD
Perform site visits to document existing conditions
Coordinate with design team to incorporate design information/specifications and client standards into the design drawings and data
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Design or related field
Experience with AutoCAD software, recent release
Proficient in cooling and heating load calculations
HVAC/Plumbing system design
Good writing, organization, and communication skills
Knowledge of current Codes and Standards
