Responsibilities
Coordinate with customers to develop project plan and timelines
Daily and weekly customer update meetings
Manage the Production Scheduling and coordination of activities within the respective group
Initiate inter-departmental collaboration to meet production proficiencies and quality objectives
Oversee Production Processes and guide personnel on production plans, schedules and key metrics
Develop/implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
Provide leadership to achieve positive moral, production efficiencies, adherence to company policies, production timelines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety
Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety guidelines/procedures/standards
Collaborate with Engineering on design, new product development, equipment specifications, appropriate documentation and submittal of NCRs
Investigate production issues and develop resolutions
Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluations, discipline, succession programs and retention
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
8+ years production/manufacturing processes and techniques experience
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Bachelors Degree or proven previous leadership experience with the Cryogenic Industry
Previous Production leadership experience
Business Management/Project Management experience
Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs
Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
Preferred
Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP systems
