They are seeking a Civil Engineer Intern for their Transportation Practice in New York City, where the intern will assist staff engineers on various projects, focusing on hydraulic analysis, roadway design, and drafting/detailing of civil elements.

Responsibilities
You will work closely with staff engineers to provide assistance on a variety of tasks for active projects
Responsible for hydraulic analysis, roadway design, grading, drainage, quantity estimating, and drafting/detailing of civil and infrastructure elements
On a day-to-day basis, you will coordinate work under the supervision of in-house staff and prepare drawings, specifications, and contract documents
You will have the opportunity to go on-site visits and inspections
Qualification
Required
Pursuing an undergraduate in B.S. Civil Engineering
Excellent academic record
Preferred
Experience in AutoCAD is helpful but not required
Familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus
