Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze standard and actual cost reports for manufacturing operations
Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs; investigate variances and recommend corrective actions
Maintain and update cost standards, BOMs, and routing data in ERP systems
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes with accurate cost allocations
Assist in developing annual budgets and rolling forecasts for production costs
Provide cost projections for new product launches and process changes
Reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accurate valuation
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control standards
Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency
Deliver clear reporting and insights to senior leadership for strategic decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
Preferred
CPA or CMA
