Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive financial bridges, narratives and strategic documents for executive leadership, covering monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes
Develop daily and periodic company-wide revenue reports to communicate topline performance to Amazon’s executive leadership team
Collaborate proactively with business finance teams using a customer-obsessed approach to ensure data accuracy and alignment of financial reporting
Create guidance and workback plans to support key financial review meetings and processes
Utilize advanced financial systems to conduct deep-dive analyses and generate executive-level summaries

Required

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
7+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
7+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

Preferred

MBA, or CPA
7+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
7+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
