Responsibilities

Provides counselling services for TELUS Health's Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity
Address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability

Qualification

Master’s Degree in CounsellingProfessional Registration - ACSWCAPCCCClinical assessment toolsPost-masters clinical experienceTreatment plan developmentReport writing skillsSupport mandated clientsCase management skills

Required

Master's Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
Minimum five (5) years of post-masters clinical experience
Professional Registration - ACSW, CAP, CCC
Knowledge of clinical assessment tools with experience conducting substance abuse assessments & mental health assessments
Ability to assess all types of psycho-social disorders and develop treatment plans
Strong report writing skills
Experience supporting mandated clients

Preferred

Experience working in an inpatient/outpatient substance abuse treatment facility considered an asset
Basic knowledge of community resources around St. Albert and case management skills
