RF Electrical Test Technician

They are seeking an RF Electrical Test Technician to evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair various RF electronic assemblies, ensuring compliance with established processes and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, and components – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on RF Test and Evaluation hands-on experience
Electronics troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures
Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations
Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes
Proficient in reading and fully interpreting Assembly Drawings and Schematics
Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes
Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects
This will be a 1st shift, onsite role
Qualification
Required
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years RF Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience
Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, etc
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Electrical Test Technical School Degree
Radio Frequency RF troubleshooting experience
