Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources such as app services, virtual machines, storage, and networking components

Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of Azure-based systems, including managing billing and resource utilization

Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and patch management strategies to ensure security and reliability

Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Azure CLI) and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient provisioning

Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Azure and on-prem environments, ensuring seamless integration and high availability

Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure and respond to incidents promptly

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and application developers to design and optimize Azure solutions aligned with business needs

Create and maintain clear documentation for configurations, processes, and technical designs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

3+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Hosting Technician with a focus on Microsoft Azure

Strong understanding of Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI)

Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices in Azure

Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
