LEAD TEACHER, HR Children's Center
Boston University is seeking a Lead Teacher for their Children's Center, which focuses on early childhood education. The Lead Teacher will ensure the safety and well-being of children while providing a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment that meets their needs.

Responsibilities
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all the children in the classroom
Supporting the mission and philosophy of the Center
Providing a nurturing, consistent, developmentally appropriate environment that meets the cognitive, emotional, social and physical needs of young children
Developing and maintaining family relationships
Collaborating with the co-teaching team
Taking part in continuous professional development
Abiding by all EEC licensing standards and all policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Lead Teacher Certified by MA Department of Early Education and Care (EEC)
Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an early childhood setting
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work cooperatively and communicate well with others
Reliable and conscientious
Computer skills (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Kaymbu, COR Advantage)
Willingness to increase knowledge in the field
Certificate of CPR and first aid training (recommended)
Organized, ability to multitask
Ability to work independently
Attentive to confidentiality of records and other information
