Responsibilities
Act as the main quality liaison with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Resolve quality issues, lead corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
Inspect and verify conformance of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods
Report on quality metrics, non-conformances, and recommend improvements
Visit suppliers and customers to assess quality performance and gather feedback
Support new supplier onboarding and AS9102 First Article Inspections
Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and company standards
Deliver training to staff and promote a quality-focused culture
Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales
Maintain technical competence and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Perform additional quality engineering tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Must possess or be able to obtain (at company's expense) a Secret level clearance
US Citizenship is a prerequisite
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
2.5 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing
Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be familiar with ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements
