Responsibilities
Assist maintenance technicians with routine repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance tasks
Perform basic duties such as painting, light plumbing, changing light bulbs, and simple carpentry
Support with physical tasks, including moving equipment, materials, or furniture as required
Help maintain common areas, grounds, and building exteriors by performing basic cleaning and upkeep
Monitor supply inventory and notify the supervisor when stock needs to be replenished
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
Respond to work orders and resident requests promptly and professionally
Follow all safety procedures and company policies while performing tasks
Assist with emergency maintenance situations as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to safely use basic hand tools and small power tools
Physical ability to lift heavy items, climb ladders, and perform manual labor for extended periods
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed
Preferred
Prior experience in general maintenance or building support is a plus but not required
