Responsibilities
Developing, maintaining, and optimizing spatial databases (PostGIS, ArcSDE, SQL)
Administering GIS platforms (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online)
Ensuring spatial data accuracy, quality control, and adherence to data standards
Creating and managing spatial data layers, web maps, and dashboards
Supporting integration between CIS, GIS and enterprise systems
Configuring and maintaining OT data historian systems (e.g., OSI, MILSoft OMS, MS Sequel Server Historian) and Integrating OT data into business intelligence and reporting tools
Managing real-time data acquisition from field devices (AMI MDM, SEL RTAC, PLCs, SCADA, sensors)
Developing and maintaining data tags, alarm/event logging, and trend analytics
Ensuring secure data transfer between OT and IT environments (IT/OT convergence)
Monitoring system performance, backups, and disaster recovery processes
Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, regulatory, and data governance standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineers, analysts, and IT staff
Interacting with vendors to support the various applications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in GIS data management and/or OT data systems
GIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, QGIS)
Database systems (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle)
OT data historians (OSIsoft PI, Aveva Historian, Ignition)
OT communication protocols (OPC, MQTT, Modbus)
Familiarity with scripting tools (Python, SQL, PowerShell)
Understanding of coordinate systems, data projections, and geospatial standards
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices in industrial environments (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443)
Experience with FME, PI AF, or GIS web services
Working knowledge of SCADA or PLC environments
Certifications in Esri, OSIsoft, or related technologies
Familiarity with IT/OT network architecture and data security protocols
