Responsibilities

Process all customer disputes adhering to department procedures and meeting established turnaround times
Deeply Understand and ensure compliance with all aspects of Regulation E that govern disputed transactions
Deeply Understand the ACH & BillPay Process to ensure correct actions are taken on high priority and Fraud claims
Complete necessary research in some escalated scenarios
Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external customers regarding resolution of issues
Exercise exceptional communication skills in an effort to optimize each contact with customers and external vendors/banks
Responsible for continuous improvement of job knowledge by exercising strong listening skills and asking questions for clarity
Establish and ensure compliance with departmental standards and processes to increase production and accommodate work volumes toward enhanced customer satisfaction
Participate in special projects as needed
Undertake other projects/duties as assigned by Management
Act as a Subject Matter Expert during new hire training
Able to apply time management skills to complete research tasks (including but not limited to making outbound calls) in a timely manner
Accurately review, update claims that were misclassified at intake

Required

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 3 years Customer service or Call Center experience
At least 2 years experience working in the Financial Industry
At least 1 year experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office
At least 1 year of experience in claims
Detail-oriented
Extensive Reg E knowledge
Takes interest in the ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy within strict timeframes
Has the ability to work independently and within a team environment
Possess strong problem solving skills
Adapt to a flexible work environment
Consistently look for ways to build great working relationships
Embrace the change curve effectively and in a positive manner while managing additional work tasks and responsibilities required for the role
