Chase is seeking an experienced macro/fixed income strategist to join their Investment Strategy Team. The role involves developing and communicating the firm’s outlook on fixed income markets and monetary policy, requiring a strong background in macroeconomic analysis and investment strategy.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis and forecasting of Federal Reserve policy decisions and their implications for markets and the economy
Conduct macroeconomic analysis of the U.S. and global economies, producing regular research, deep-dive reports, and weekly insights
Generate investment ideas and trade recommendations in the interest rate and government bond space across developed markets
Develop and communicate investment theses on duration and curve positioning
Present at investor events, client briefings, and strategy discussions, representing the firm with clarity and authority
Build and maintain relationships with contacts within the economic policy community

Required

8+ years of industry experience, including relevant Fixed Income investment and macroeconomic research experience
Advanced degree in economics, finance, or related field
Deep understanding of G10 sovereign bond markets, macroeconomic drivers, and technical structure of interest rate and FX securities (forwards, futures, swaps, options, sovereign bonds)
Demonstrated ability to generate and implement high-conviction investment ideas across global rates and FX
Effective communicator with strong writing and presentation skills; able to work collaboratively in an intellectually rigorous environment

Preferred

Direct experience at the Federal Reserve or another major central bank strongly preferred
Experience with Python or related programming languages is a plus
