Responsibilities

Design Protection & Control systems with 2D software (AutoCAD)

Prepare project deliverables including detail drawings, electrical schematics, layouts, equipment sizing, etc

Collaborate with engineers and technicians in the execution of technical tasks

Prepare plans, drawings and calculations based on specifications provided

Participate in the development of electrical Control and Protection systems, including single-line diagrams, logic diagrams, three-wire AC diagrams, protection and control diagrams, wiring drawings, device connection drawings, assembly plans, material lists and specifications for the manufacture and installation on site of Control and Protection panels

Participate in the development of AC and DC power systems, including single-line diagrams, AC and DC load calculations, AC & DC distribution diagrams, connection drawings of chargers, batteries, inverter, etc

Participate in site surveys (substations and power stations)

Coordinate with the engineering disciplines: apparatus, civil, mechanical and building in order to develop design solutions for optimized and advanced substation and power plant systems

Ability to carry out site work sporadically when the opportunity arises (start-up or monitoring)
