Responsibilities
Partner to develop, define, and execute Allucent 's overarching ACE Infectious Diseases strategy that aligns with our corporate and market opportunity goals across all phases of drug development
Serve as an internal Infectious Diseases expert providing leadership across high value opportunities and ensure
Lead the discussion around possible innovative and efficient operational models for Infectious Diseases trials, leveraging internal expertise across multidisciplinary scientific and operational functions
Direct development of a therapeutic ecosystem of internal and external SMEs & Partners to differentiate Allucent 's go to market offering
Have accountability for delivery performance across the Infectious Diseases portfolio, ensuring studies meet or exceed quality, timeline, and budget expectations
Establish and monitor leading and lagging operational and financial KPIs specific to Infectious Diseases to enable proactive portfolio performance management
Lead operational governance for key clients in the Infectious Diseases portfolio, providing strategic oversight and escalation support as required
Champion operational innovation, such as decentralized or hybrid trial models, real-world data integration, and digital solutions that enhance Infectious Diseases study efficiency
Partner with Medical, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Data Operations to ensure Infectious Diseases trials are strategically and operationally optimized
Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of delivery solutions across the Infectious Diseases portfolio
Partner with Marketing and Business Development and internal/external SMEs to position Allucent as a thought leader in the Infectious Diseases drug development space
Lead operational strategy development key opportunities to support improved opportunity capture
Cultivate relationships with key Infectious Diseases sponsors, thought leaders, and academic collaborators
Identify new growth opportunities in Infectious Diseases, including emerging indications, novel modalities, and biomarker-driven strategies
Participate as a key contributor to the executive operational leadership team for Allucent
Provide mentorship and leadership to therapeutic leads, project directors, and operational teams within Infectious Diseases
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree in life sciences (MS, PhD, or equivalent). Background in Infectious Diseases, or related field preferred
Minimum 15 years of clinical research and development experience with a focus on Infectious Diseases within a CRO, pharma, or biotech environment
Demonstrated success leading Infectious Diseases programs or portfolios across multiple indications and study phases
Proven ability to align therapeutic insight with operational strategy
Strong experience collaborating with and influencing across multiple scientific and operational disciplines
Track record of client engagement, operational strategy, and managing large portfolios of work to achieve commercial and delivery goals
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and operational insight
Excellent communicator, capable of translating scientific and operational concepts for diverse audiences
Highly collaborative, able to influence across functions and levels without direct authority
Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and motivated by building excellence in a growth-oriented CRO environment
