Associate, Compensation - Special Compensation
Capital One is a financial services company that is looking for a talented Associate to join their Executive Compensation & Equity team. The role involves managing special compensation programs, policies, and procedures, while collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate and timely processes.

Responsibilities
Manage Special Compensation process for Cash Retention, Special Cash, and special equity awards from submission to payment / issuance
Collaborate with accounting on monthly accrual report for retention awards
Lead special equity process by creating educational resources and managing the nominations in Salesforce
Coordinate Special Compensation process improvements - work with HR tech teams in Salesforce and Workday
Ensure that month-end, quarter-end, and annual processes are completed accurately and by appropriate deadlines
Partner with Compensation Consulting, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, and Accounting teams on the management and delivery of all special compensation programs
Proactively review, update, and inform partners on the Special Compensation standard, intake process, and program usage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience in compensation, finance, accounting, analytics, tax, payroll or a combination
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Human Resources
At least 2 years of experience in compensation
Experience in the Financial Services Industry
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
