Principal Systems Engineer - Jira Manager

They are seeking a Radar Digital Product Line Jira Manager to manage RPL schedules in Jira, ensuring effective communication and alignment of program plans. The role involves continuous improvement of the Jira scheduling process and resolving inconsistencies across RPL disciplines.

Responsibilities
Control master RPL schedule in Jira
Assist in increment planning to get RPL and program plans aligned
Jira interface with the programs to make sure providing complete data to the product line
Make sure Jira linking is correct in the model
Make sure RPL planning is complete
Resolve inconsistencies across RPL disciplines (DCTI example: all DCTI SW should have corresponding requirements)
Assist CAMs to put in financial information in Jira
Continuous improvement of Jira scheduling process
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
An active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with Jira
Preferred
Understand program planning to be able to identify what is missing based on rules
Communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in Jira (some training possible)
Detail oriented
Organized
Comfortable with the complexities
Understanding of Agile
