ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR

Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. Incumbent of this position is subject to the possibility of a random drug test
This position has a limited area of consideration to Command-wide (AETC) only
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C for the WS-2600 Electronic Equipment Installation and Maintenance Group
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying
Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time
The screen out element for this position is ability to do the work of a ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR without more than normal supervision
Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/ Equal Employment Treatment
Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications
Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
