Confidential is seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join their team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify problems accurately
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning coils, changing filters, and checking refrigerant levels
Conduct equipment repairs on refrigeration units, boilers, and other HVAC-related appliances as needed
Collaborate with construction teams to assist in HVAC design and installation for new builds or renovations
Utilize mechanical skills to perform welding tasks when necessary for equipment repairs
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance needs
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during each job

Required

Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry or related fields such as appliance repair or property maintenance
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools including an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC design and construction plans
Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
Experience in plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations is beneficial
