Responsibilities

Support daily accounting functions across multiple commercial assets
Review general ledger activity, prepare accruals, and post adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAP
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Produce financial analyses for internal leadership and external partners
Partner with executives on cash flow forecasting
Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual workpaper packages based on posted journal entries and GL activity
Contribute to the preparation of annual GAAP financial statements and audit support
Assist with budget development and quarterly reforecasts
Build reporting templates in Excel and participate in process or technology improvement initiatives
Support ad hoc and special projects as needed

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3+ years of real estate accounting experience; CPA a plus
Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
Excellent communication and writing skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Professional, mature judgement and strong interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Preferred

Public accounting background preferred
Experience with JDE is an advantage
