They are seeking a Senior / Principal Windows System Administrator to provide systems administration, manage Windows operating systems, and ensure security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Provide Windows systems administration in multiple heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments

Install, configure, and manage Windows operating systems, applications, and related software, including Microsoft Exchange, Office, SharePoint and SCCM

Implement and maintain Group Policy settings and other configuration tools

Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to protect Windows systems and data

Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows systems and applications

Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying problems

Develop and document technical configurations, processes and procedures

Collaborating with other teams

Required

5+ years professional experience performing duties of a Windows system administrator

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments including experience managing and troubleshooting Windows 11 and Active Directory

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, a related field, or equivalent experience

An active and transferable Secret clearance with ability to gain a TS/SCI clearance

Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification)

Detail oriented

Good verbal and written communication skills
