Responsibilities
Installing new HVAC systems according to specifications, including ductwork, vents, and air distribution systems
Understanding system layouts, measurements, and schematics to ensure proper installation
Ensuring safe and secure connections for power and fuel supply. Must be trained in brazing
Checking for airflow, refrigerant levels, and potential leaks, as well as calibrating thermostats and control system
Repairing or replacing worn or defective parts
Conducting regular maintenance to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal system performance
Following local, state, and federal regulations for HVAC system installations and safety standards
Explaining how to operate and maintain the system, providing troubleshooting tips, and answering customer questions. Excellent customer skills. Pride in your work
Adhering to safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
Keeping abreast of industry advancements, new technologies, and evolving regulations
