New Grad, Entry LevelFirst State Community Bank is looking for a highly organized and meticulous candidate to fill the role of HMDA Data Specialist. The position will be responsible for assisting with data collection and entering HMDA data into the appropriate reporting system.

Responsibilities
Display excellent verbal and written communication skills during communication with HMDA personnel, loan personnel and audit/compliance department staff
Assist the HMDA specialist reviewing loan documentation and reporting consumer and commercial dwelling-secured loans
Data entry of all HMDA reporting information in the appropriate database reporting software
Research and resolve identified exceptions
Verify applicable loan documentation supports the reportable data
Enter exceptions into the monitoring system for tracking and resolution by the branch locations
Work closely with lending personnel to ensure all required documentation is received and, when necessary, corrections are made to the file
Update resolved exceptions in the monitoring system
Perform other department duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Attention to detail is a must
High level organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
Preferred
Experience in loans and loan origination systems desired, not required
