Sr. Product Manager - ES, AWS AI (Amazon Polly)
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for delivering machine learning services across multiple segments to its customers. The Sr. Product Manager will lead the product for Amazon Polly, tackling strategic and technical questions, working with various stakeholders to grow the business, and defining the technical strategy.

Responsibilities
Lead the development of the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
Define compelling, creative, product roadmaps based on your strategy and vision
Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market
Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may affect the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
5+ years of creating written docs for development of new products experience
5+ years of enterprise security product experience
5+ years of product management in the cloud computing technology space experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics
Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Preferred
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
MBA
Experience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations, or experience in development or technical support
Experience with problem solving and disruptive innovation, developing technology programs and working across customer organizations
Experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance), or experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
