Responsibilities
Assist IT support staff with troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end-users
Provide basic technical support for network connectivity, printing, and common application problems
Participate in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new IT equipment (e.g., computers, monitors, peripherals)
Document IT processes, procedures, and inventory of hardware and software assets
Support IT projects by performing research, data entry, and other administrative tasks as assigned
Assist with user account management, including creation, modification, and deletion of access
Learn and apply IT best practices related to cybersecurity and data privacy
Collaborate with various IT teams to understand different functional areas (e.g., infrastructure, applications, security)
Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT department's objectives
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks
Preferred
Familiarity with network concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) is a plus
